The visit of the Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan to the Republic of Azerbaijan has begun

On July 16, 2025, the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov left for a visit to the Republic of Azerbaijan.

At the capital’s international airport, the National Leader of the Turkmen people was seen off by Turkmen officials.

After some time, the plane of the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov landed at the Heydar Aliyev International Airport in Baku, decorated with the national flags of the two countries.

Cooperation between Turkmenistan and Azerbaijan is long-term. As a result of joint efforts in recent years, these relations have reached a qualitatively new level. This is clearly reflected in the current visit of the Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan to a friendly neighboring country.
