Issues of developing cooperation between Turkmenistan and the Kingdom of Eswatini discussed
On December 13, 2025, a meeting was held between the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov and the Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Eswatini Russell Dlamini, who arrived in Ashgabat to take part in the International Forum dedicated to the International Year of Peace and Trust, the International Day of Neutrality, and the 30th anniversary of the permanent Neutrality of Turkmenistan.
Addressing congratulations to the Turkmen side on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the country’s permanent Neutrality, the Prime Minister of Eswatini highlighted the importance of the International Forum as a significant platform for fostering a culture of trust and developing solutions to pressing contemporary issues.
It was emphasized that political dialogue and high-level contacts make a substantial contribution to strengthening mutual understanding and trust between the two countries. In this context, reference was made to the meetings between the President of Turkmenistan and the King of Eswatini held on the margins of the Third United Nations Conference on Landlocked Developing Countries (LLDC3), as well as within the framework of the 80th session of the United Nations General Assembly.
During the talks, the sides discussed issues related to the development of bilateral relations in the political and diplomatic, trade and economic, and cultural and humanitarian spheres. The necessity of establishing dialogue between the business communities of the two countries was noted.
The interlocutors reaffirmed their mutual commitment to strengthening cooperation within international organizations, primarily the United Nations.
