SILK PRODUCERS OF THE EASTERN REGION COMPLETE PRODUCTION OF COCOONS
Collection of the yield of mulberry silk cocoons is accomplished in Lebap Velayat. After cleaning and sorting, cocoons will go for processing to Turkmenabat Silk Production Association.
All volumes of maintenance and commissioning works have been accomplished at this industrial facility on the threshold of new season of processing of silk raw material. installation and commissioning of four new modern cocoon spinning machines are on the final stage.
As is known, Turkmen silk is distinguished with excellent quality and high consumer characteristics. Yarn and wastes of cocoon processing are on high demand in foreign market.
