Sunny berry plantations spread over most of Turkmenistan have given a rich harvest this year. Today, the market stalls offer a wide selection of cultivated grape varieties, including Garauzyum, Gelinbarmak, Terbash, Khalili, Dagtokga and many others.

Rooted in ancient times, the art of growing grapes in Turkmenistan remains popular in modern agricultural production. To date, the leader in terms of the volume of grapes grown and harvested in the country is Akhal velayat.

As you know, eating grapes improves digestion, and the high water content in berries helps saturate the body with moisture. Fruits also contain dietary fiber, healthy carbohydrates, antioxidants, and a moderate amount of protein. In addition, the bones of the grape plant are also beneficial for health.

Dark varieties of grapes give the most beneficial effect to the body. They contain more flavonoids and antioxidants. However, green fruits have healing properties. Therefore, when purchasing grapes, it is worth starting only from personal preferences.
