THE TURKMEN DELEGATION TOOK PART IN THE MEETING OF THE INTERGOVERNMENTAL COUNCIL FOR COOPERATION IN CONSTRUCTION ACTIVITIES

The delegation of Turkmenistan took part in the XLIII meeting of the Intergovernmental Council for Cooperation in Construction Activities of the Member States of the Commonwealth of Independent States in Kazan. The event was held in a hybrid format as part of the II International Construction Championship.

The delegates noted the huge potential of the Commonwealth countries in the construction industry, contributing to the strengthening of international cooperation. In this regard, the importance of interaction within the framework of the Intergovernmental Council for Cooperation in Construction Activities for solving urgent economic problems was emphasized.

Particular attention was paid to the issues of improving pricing systems. Thus, the Pricing Commission under the Intergovernmental Council was instructed to develop a draft Pricing Concept in the construction activities of the CIS member states.

The participants also touched upon the development of draft interstate documents in accordance with the Action Plan for the implementation of the first stage (2021-2025) of the CIS Economic Development Strategy until 2030 and strengthening the role of specialized base organizations. The head of the basic organization of the CIS member states in the field of earthquake-resistant construction, informed the members of the council about the prospects for developing a risk map to support seismic resistance in building codes.
