Ambassador of Turkmenistan in Kabul met with acting Minister of Foreign Affairs of Afghanistan

On July 10th, 2024, Ambassador of Turkmenistan in Kabul Hoja Ovezov met with Mawlawi Amir Khan Muttaqi, Acting minister of Foreign Affairs of Afghanistan.

In this meeting, discussions were held regarding the inauguration of Turkmenistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan-India (TAPI) natural gas pipeline project, as well as increasing the capacity of Torghundi railway station & Nur-ul-Jihad substation in Herat province.

As the result, it was agreed to accelerate the ongoing works on implementation of economic projects by Turkmenistan in Afghanistan.
