Meeting of Ambassador of Turkmenistan in Kabul with acting Minister of Foreign Affairs of Afghanistan

On July 25th, 2024, Ambassador of Turkmenistan Hoja Ovezov met with Mawlawi Amir Khan Muttaqi, acting Minister of Foreign Affairs of Afghansitan.

 During the meeting, discussions were held on enhancing the bilateral relations and implementation of Turkmenistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan-India (TAPI) gas pipeline project in Afghanistan.

Ambassador of Turkmenistan shared information on the latest progress on the commencement of TAPI project & asked for further cooperation in terms of implementation of this project in Afghan soil.

Mawlawi Amir Khan Muttaqi,, emphasized that TAPI project is one of the priorities of Afghan side & assured for the complete cooperation in the process of finalizing and initiation the works related to this project.
