On the meeting with the Deputy Prime minister, Chief of Staff of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan

On April 28, 2025, a meeting was held between the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov and the Deputy Prime minister, Chief of Staff of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan Galymzhan Koishybayev.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the current situation and promising areas for the development of bilateral cooperation in the political, diplomatic, trade, economic, and cultural and humanitarian spheres.

An exchange of views took place on the practical implementation of the agreements reached during the meeting of the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov with the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev in April of this year.

Energy, transport, trade, digitalization and industrial cooperation were noted as priority areas for mutually beneficial partnership.
