Talks were held with the Head of the Political Seсtion and Protocol of the Office of the President of Slovakia

On December 11, 2025, a meeting was held between Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Ahmet Gurbanov and the Head of the Political Seсtion and Protocol of the Office of the President of the Slovak Republic, Peter Vilčák.

At the beginning of the meeting, the sides noted the significance of the events held in the country on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s permanent Neutrality and the International Day of Neutrality, emphasizing that the country’s neutrality policy is an important factor in maintaining peace, strengthening mutual understanding, and promoting respectful dialogue in the region and beyond.

The diplomats assessed the current level of cooperation between the two countries and discussed priority areas of interaction both in the bilateral format and within the framework of international organizations.

The sides also put forward proposals to intensify diplomatic and inter-parliamentary cooperation.
