Videoconference meeting with the Foreign Minister of Afghanistan

On January 27, 2026, the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov Foreign held a video call with the Foreign Minister of Afghanistan Mawlawi Amir Khan Muttaqi.

In this video call, the two sides discussed matters of mutual bilateral interest, the development of regional cooperation, and the progress of the economic projects implemented by Turkmenistan in Afghanistan, including TAPI gas pipeline and railway projects.
