Meeting with the Ambassador of Japan held at the MFA of Turkmenistan

On 10 June 2026, a meeting was held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan between Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Myahri Byashimova and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to Turkmenistan Hiroshi Sasaki.

During the meeting, the parties discussed current issues of Turkmen-Japanese cooperation.

Particular emphasis was placed on cooperation within international organizations. The diplomats underscored the importance of further coordination of efforts within international frameworks aimed at strengthening peace and sustainable development.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the parties reaffirmed their commitment to further developing a constructive dialogue between Turkmenistan and Japan both bilaterally and within the framework of international organizations.
