ENERGY EQUIPMENT SERVICE CENTRE: IMPULSE TO ECONOMIC AND TECHNICAL EFFICIENCY

The Consortium of Çalik Enerji Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş. (Turkey) and Çalik Enerji Swiss AG (Switzerland) to build the Maintenance and Service Centre of Energy Equipment on the territory of Byuzmeyin State Power Station by the work order of the Ministry of Energy.

According to the Resolution of the Head of the State, the facility will be put into operation in 2022. At present time, preparation, construction and installation works are carried out.

Çalik Enerji will have to create biggest in Central Asia, modern high technology base for service of gas turbine, which are installed at the power stations, to arrange maintenance of power generators, transforming stations of different capacities, distribution boards and other power energy equipment.

At present time, power generating facilities of the Ministry of Energy of Turkmenistan utilize 32 various capacity gas turbines from American General Electric.

Previously, service and maintenance of turbines were made by the company itself. From now on, maintenance and service will be carried out in specialized centre. For this purpose, it is planned to build workshops provided with high technological machines from the leading manufacturers including from General Electric on the territory of 4,000 square meters. In addition, the contractor will supply 16 sets of spare parts, which will allow stocking up a reserve, as per the contract terms for maintenance of gas turbines.

According to specialists, reliability of operation of gas turbine will be increased, time and cost of rehabilitation works will be reduced and new work places will be made after arrangement of service, timely and qualitative maintenance.
