AN EXHIBITION DEDICATED TO THE 25TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE PERMANENT NEUTRALITY OF TURKMENISTAN WAS ORGANIZED AT THE CIS HEADQUARTERS IN MINSK

On November 20, 2020, the opening ceremony of the exhibition dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the permanent neutrality of Turkmenistan was held at the CIS headquarters in Minsk.
The exhibition was organized by the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Belarus together with the Executive Committee of the Commonwealth of Independent States.
The opening ceremony of the exhibition was attended by the heads and employees of the CIS Executive Committee, UN Resident Coordinator in the Republic of Belarus Joanna Kazana-Wisniowiecki, the head of the International Organization for Migration office in the Republic of Belarus, Ambassadors and diplomats of the CIS countries working in Minsk.
The exhibition was opened by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to the Republic of Belarus, Permanent Representative of Turkmenistan to the statutory and other bodies of the Commonwealth of Independent States N. Shagulyev. Also at the opening ceremony of the exhibition made the speeches the First Deputy Chairman of the CIS Executive Committee V. Guminsky and the UN Resident Coordinator in the Republic of Belarus Joanna Kazana-Wisniowiecki.
The exhibition featured scientific works and books of the President of Turkmenistan, among which there are works translated into Belarusian language, as well as photographs about Turkmenistan, national carpets, handicrafts and embroideries of folk craftswomen that demonstrate the rich history and culture of the Turkmen people.
The exhibition will continue until December 12, 2020.
