A SPORTS EVENT DEDICATED TO THE 25TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE PERMANENT NEUTRALITY OF TURKMENISTAN WAS HELD IN KHARKOV
On November 20, 2020 in the city of Kharkov in honor of the 25th anniversary of the permanent neutrality of Turkmenistan and the proclamation of 2020 as the year of "Turkmenistan-Home of Neutrality", the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Ukraine together with the National Technical University "Kharkov Polytechnic Institute" held a sports volleyball competition among the national teams of Turkmen students studying at the universities of the city of Kharkov.
Representatives of higher educational institutions took part in the opening of the tournament, who congratulated the youth on a significant event in the history of Turkmenistan, conveyed best wishes to the President of Turkmenistan and the entire Turkmen people. Representatives of universities noted the tangible concern of the Leader of the Nation about students studying abroad, wished the participants a successful tournament and success in all their endeavors.
The guests and participants of the event were familiarized with the history of the proclamation of the status of neutrality of Turkmenistan, the domestic and foreign policy of the country, achievements in the era of neutrality in strengthening positive international and regional stability.
In total, 6 teams from different universities competed in the tournament. In a bitter struggle for the championship, the national team of Turkmen students of the Kharkov National Pedagogical University named after G.S. Skovoroda has won the tournament.
In a solemn atmosphere, members of the winning team were awarded certificates, medals and a cup of the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Ukraine.
