INSTITUTE OF INTERNATIONAL RELATIONS OF THE MINISTRY OF FOREIGN AFFAIRS OF TURKMENISTAN EXPANDS COOPERATION WITH UNIVERSITIES OF DIFFERENT COUNTRIES

On December 2, 2020, in the format of a video conference, a round table dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the permanent Neutrality of Turkmenistan, was held between the Institute of International Relations of the MFA of Turkmenistan and Lanzhou University of the People's Republic of China, with the participation of leaders, faculty, as well as students of these institutions.

At the beginning of the event, it was told about the role of the Neutrality of Turkmenistan in ensuring peace, security and sustainable development at the national, regional and international levels, as well as the celebration of the 25th anniversary of the Neutrality of Turkmenistan in the year of proclamation of 2020 - “Turkmenistan - Home of Neutrality”.

During the round table, representatives of Lanzhou University of the People's Republic of China emphasized that they pay special attention to the study of Turkmen-Chinese relations, the institution of neutrality, as well as the Turkmen model of Neutrality that has been formed in international relations.

Also on December 2, in honor of the 25th anniversary of the permanent Neutrality of Turkmenistan in the format of a videoconference, a round table was held with the participation of the leadership and faculty of the Institute of International Relations of the MFA of Turkmenistan and the Diplomatic Academy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration of the Republic of Croatia.

The participants of the meeting noted that the Turkmen model of Neutrality forms a solid foundation of Turkmenistan's foreign policy by incorporating the invariable principles of international law and diplomacy, becoming, in turn, an effective instrument for peacekeeping in international relations and for strengthening regional and international cooperation.

During a round table between the Institute of International Relations of the MFA of Turkmenistan and the Diplomatic Academy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration of the Republic of Croatia, an exchange of views took place on the work done to expand scientific cooperation and to develop opportunities for its further strengthening.
