FOOTBALL COMPETITION, TIMED TO THE 30TH ANNIVERSARY OF TURKMENISTAN’S INDEPENDENCE WAS HELD IN JAPAN
On April 12, 2021 the Embassy of Turkmenistan to Japan organized the football tournament at the University of Tokay, which was timed to the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s Independence and announcement of 2021 as the year of “Turkmenistan – Homeland of Peace and Trust”. Turkmen students studying in Japan, as well as residents of Tokio took part at the competition.
The sports event was organized with the aim of development of sport activities and healthy lifestyle among the youth as well as formation of ecological culture in the society and activation of cooperation between the states and peoples in this sphere.
