PRESENTATION OF THE BOOKS OF THE PRESIDENT OF TURKMENISTAN TRANSLATED INTO TURKISH LANGUAGE WAS HELD IN ANKARA
On April 9, 2021 in the building of Ankara University, the Embassy of Turkmenistan to the Republic of Turkey in collaboration with the University of Ankara organized the presentation of the books of President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov “A Horse – A Symbol of Faithfulness and Happiness” and “Traditions of Turkmen Statehood”, as well as the exhibition of the books of the President of Turkmenistan and of cultural values of Turkmen state, timed to the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s Independence and announcement of 2021 as the year of “Turkmenistan – Homeland of Peace and Trust”.
The event was attended by the Senior Advisor of the President of Turkey Y.Topchu, Rector of Ankara University N.Unuvar, Chairman of the Parliamentary Turkmen-Turkish Friendship Group I.Aydemir, Ambassadors Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Republic of Belarus, Republic of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyz Republic, Republic of Moldova, Russian Federation, Ukraine, accredited in the Republic of Turkey, Turkmen students, heads of public organizations, representatives of media and others.
In his speech Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to the Republic of Turkey I.Amanlyev informed about the events which are being held in honor of important dates. The video film about the achievements of Turkmenistan during Independence years was demonstrated.
The speakers from Turkish side underlined the importance of the books of the President of Turkmenistan for the peoples of the two countries.
