PILOT TRAIN TO RUN UZBEKISTAN – TURKMENISTAN – IRAN – OMAN CORRIDOR

Regular video conference meeting of representatives of railroad departments of Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan and the Islamic Republic of Iran was held. Azeri website Report informs about this.

Aspects of organization of pilot train along Uzbekistan – Turkmenistan – Iran – Oman (Ashgabat Agreement) have been discussed by the participants of the video conference.

The agreement on facilitation of customs procedures for railway trains has been achieved for increment of cargo traffic. The sides have also reviewed the process of fulfilment of the protocol of the meeting of the heads of railroad departments of Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan and Iran dated by May 21, 2020.
