DELEGATION OF TURKMENISTAN TO THE OSCE MADE A STATEMENT ON THE RESULTS OF THE CONSULTATIVE MEETING OF THE HEADS OF STATES OF CENTRAL ASIA

On August 12, 2021, at the regular meeting of the Permanent Council of the OSCE, the Delegation of Turkmenistan made a statement on the results of the Consultative Meeting of the Heads of States of Central Asia, which was held on the 6th of August in Turkmenistan.

In particular, it was noted that the Consultative Meeting of the Heads of States of Central Asia in Turkmenbashi made it possible to consider perspective directions, forms and mechanisms of further development of regional mutually beneficial cooperation on all the areas of mutual interest.

It was also mentioned in the statement that the Consultative Meeting of the Heads of States of Central Asia was directed to the further strengthening of regional cooperation, creation of conditions for more active and oriented steps in this direction.

At the Meeting the parties exchanged views and discussed the broad spectrum of issues of integration cooperation within the region, multilateral trade-economic and investment interaction and public-private partnership.

The delegation noted the relevance of the concentration of the resources of industrial and transport spheres, business structures and financial institutions for the formation of modern infrastructure of developing economies of the countries of Central Asia.
