AN EXHIBITION OF CULTURE, ART AND PHOTOGRAPHY OF TURKMENISTAN HAS OPENED IN ANKARA
On the 16th of August 2021, an opening ceremony of the Exhibition of culture, art and photography reflecting Turkmenistan was held in the Congress Centre of the National Library of Turkey in Ankara. The event was organized by the Embassy of Turkmenistan to the Republic of Turkey jointly with the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of Turkey, as well as the TURKSOY international organization of cultural scope and was dedicated to the 30th anniversary of Independence of Turkmenistan and the proclamation of the year 2021 as “Turkmenistan – the Homeland of Peace and Trust”.
The unique works of art of the President of Turkmenistan, as well as the pieces of art and culture, musical instruments and others are presented at the Exhibition. Also, the photographs and pictures portraying the history and present achievements of Turkmenistan are displayed.
The opening ceremony was attended by the Deputy Minister of Culture and Tourism of Turkey Serdar Cham, representatives of the administration of the Vice-president of Turkey Fuat Oktay, heads and representatives of the foreign embassies and representative offices of international organizations working in Turkey, leadership of various public organizations, Turkmen students and mass media representatives.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Turkey Ishanguly Amanlyev told about the large-scale work implemented in Turkmenistan under the leadership of the President of the country in honor of the 30th anniversary of state Independence, as well as emphasized the country’s activities of cultural-humanitarian scope carried out on the national, regional and international levels.
Speakers of the event expressed their congratulations on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of Independence of Turkmenistan and noted the progress of independent, permanently neutral Turkmenistan prospering under the wise leadership of the President of the country.
The Exhibition will take place during the period of 16-18 August 2021.
