ONLINE CONFERENCE DEDICATED TO HANDMADE EXPORT WAS HELD IN TURKMENISTAN

USAID's Future Growth Initiative organized the regional online seminar. Over 40 entrepreneurs, experts on electronic commerce and logistics from ten countries of the world took part in the event. Goal of conference – sharing the successful experience and search for new solutions in the Turkmen handmade export through the digital medium.

Within the online conference a speaker Annabel Sykes, being an expert on electronic commerce of the US project «Ready4Trade» and representing the international shopping centre (ICC), which is a long-term partner of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan, told the participants about the key factors which are necessary to consider for the online trade in the international level.

Among examples of such activities, shared by the online seminar participants, is the first steps of the Turkmen businessmen within the «Handmade Export» project, including the model of so-called consolidated transmission of goods.

Both this conference and held later in the day meeting of Dovran Hudayberdyev, a Chairman of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan, with the representatives of the business circles of Austria, must promote an increase of goods export from Turkmenistan.
