THE AMBASSADOR OF TURKMENISTAN TO TURKEY EMPHASIZED THE ROLE OF THE MEDIA IN STRENGTHENING RELATIONS BETWEEN THE TWO COUNTRIES
Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to Ankara Ishankuli Amanlyev visited the head office of the Anadolu News Agency (AA) in Ankara yesterday Wednesday.
The diplomat was met by the Chairman of the Board, General Director of the agency Serdar Karagyoz and Project Management Coordinator Oguz Karakash.
Karagyoz expressed satisfaction with the visit of the diplomat, informed about the process of creating global news and other activities of Turkey's leading news agency.
Amanlyev, in turn, emphasized the role of the media, especially AA, in strengthening relations between the two countries.
It should be recalled that the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Turkey to Turkmenistan Togan Oral recently announced that the Turkish news agency Anadolu Agency opened its official representative office in Ashgabat.
The representative office of the Anadolu News Agency in Turkmenistan was opened in accordance with the document on cooperation between the State News Agency of Turkmenistan (TDH) and the Anadolu News Agency, which was signed during the recent visit of the President of the Republic of Turkey to Turkmenistan. This event is regarded as another step towards strengthening the traditional cooperation between the peoples of the two fraternal countries.
The Turkish ambassador noted with satisfaction the high level and progressive dynamics in recent years in Turkmen-Turkish relations, stressed that the opening of a representative office of the Turkish news agency in Turkmenistan is of great humanitarian importance in the field of media cooperation between the two countries.
