DUTAR - IS A SOURCE OF INSPIRATION!

Under this title, an exhibition of young artists dedicated their creative works to a significant event was held - the inclusion of the craft of making dutar, performing musical art on it and the art of bakhsi to the UNESCO Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.

A wonderful thematic exposition plunged the guests of the exhibition centre of fine arts into the enchanting world of music through artistic creativity. A great gift for those present was the fact that the solemn part of the opening of the exhibition was accompanied by young musicians who performed folk songs to dutar and gyjak.

In the hall of the museum were represented paintings, graphic, decorative and applied works of pupils of the Children's Art School named after Bashim Nurali, 2nd children's art school, 6th and 7th art schools of the city of Ashgabat.

Despite the commonality of themes, the works of artists surprised by the variety of plot compositions.

Children's works made in different techniques reflected the devotion and love for the dutar, which has been accompanying the Turkmen since ancient times.

Performing musical art is mastered on it from an early age, which is also emphasized by the paintings of young artists. A big toy (wedding), peaceful everyday life or a military campaign, as soon as the melodies of the dutar begin to sound, everything around is transformed. No wonder they say: "Dutar is the soul of the Turkmen people."
