EVENING DRAWING FROM THE WORKSHOP OF SARAGT BABAYEV

An exhibition of works by students of the People's Artist of Turkmenistan Saragt Babayev has been launched at the Museum of Fine Arts. The exhibition gathered a large number of art connoisseurs and, it should be noted, pleasantly surprised everyone. Among the exhibited exhibits, many have already been exhibited at various exhibitions, and even then attracted the attention of the public.

The authors of these works - paintings, sculptures, ceramics and tapestry - are students, mostly from an art school, who, on their own initiative, in the evenings after their studies, came to Saragt Babaev's studio for 4 hours to work on staging the correct drawing. 4x7 - this was the schedule for those who wanted to achieve results. And the exhibition at the Museum of Fine Arts proved that an impressive result was achieved.

There are no uninteresting works at the exhibition, all of them, without exception, are either good or very good: creative, humorous, dynamic, with a palette chosen with a delicate taste.

Among the sculptural exhibits, the works of Maksatmurat Khodjaimov stand out. The sculptures “The Kidnapping of the Bride”, “Fishermen Boys” and “Gerogly” literally do not let visitors pass by until they are imbued with the mood of the characters and see the amusing details of the work.

Begench Berkeliev presented a series of paintings depicting a mulberry tree. Dumpy and tousled, this tree looks good in black and white as well as in color. And taking advantage of this, Begench approached the creative model from different perspectives.

Rustam Abdullayev was remembered by the public for the series of paintings “Happy People”, in which the young family of peasants is happy in any conditions. Even the camel and alabai that accompany these people on a long journey also share their happiness.

At the exhibition, Rustam presented a new picture, which shows that the family is expected to replenish. And this means that soon we will have to admire a happy family of 5 people.

The painting "The wedding of a classmate" immediately made Gahraman Gochmuradov famous among art lovers. His genre is decorative modern. The paintings are unusual, but very impressive.

Bakhar Pirgulyeva presented several tapestries made in the through technique. Bahar has a very developed sense of color, which makes her original tapestries "The Great Silk Road" and "Autumn" extremely beautiful.

- I am glad that under the roof of my workshop, students of different years spent time with benefit for the cause, - receiving congratulations, says Saragt Babaev. – Many of these students have already graduated from the Academy of Arts, but still consider me their teacher. I am proud of my students, and I consider the disclosure of their talent as my contribution to the Turkmen fine arts. I also presented several of my works at this exhibition, and yet the main characters of this exhibition are my students.
