President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov signed an Order announcing the district of Esenguly of the province of Balkan the winner of the 2018 contest between provincial districts and towns with district status for outstanding performance in social, economic and cultural spheres, and awarding the Esenguly District Administration with the prize money of 1 million US dollars. The document authorizes the Central Bank to allocate the above funds from the State Fund for Development.
